I was saddened to hear about the death of Dovid Lichtenstein’s mother, and wanted to offer my condolences and consolation. There are no words that I can offer, but I believe she lives on through her extended and extensive family, and the acts of chessed they do. I will learn longer and give more in her honor (not memory!), as Headlines has immensely benefited me and my family by making us more thinking and deliberate Jews.

I hope the family share many happy memories of her during shiva, shloshim and beyond.

1) I think the answer is that in mishpatim we were adding on to what was said before not invalidating it so like 1+1 but here we are repeating the same thing from the beginning we are not adding otherwise it would sound like we are adding to the torah
2) I think rashi means not to dress “shlumpy” look sharp buy yourself a nice shirt wear polished shoes wear respectable clothes dont show off by wearing flashy clothes or a flashy car but you should wear respectable clothes
