I’m not sure what to make of a couple things you said. You started out the shiur/show by referring to these issues being even by the best of families and by frum people. Well, what do you mean by the best of families? And do you really mean to say that people drinking their way through Shabbos, etc. are frum?

Also, I’m not sure about your rose-colored glasses… You mentioned a couple of times that you never saw such things when you were growing up!, what changed!, etc. Really? Isn’t that a myth? You think these issues weren’t around decades ago? Then you’re being naive.
