As an additional source which is relevant to the Rambam’s words at the end of Shmita V’Yovel, may I share something which I stumbled upon earlier this week. The Rambam in מורה נבוכים ח”ג פ”כד which is attached below comments on the “nisayon” of the manna. The lesson the Rambam presents, I think is pretty clearly referring to his comment at the end of Shmita V’Yovel and reiterating that his words do indeed refer to כל באי העולם.
