Is having discriminatory school acceptance policies Halachically allowed?
What damage are we doing to our children?
Do we have a communal obligation to accept all children into schools?
Is there a difference between a boys school and a girls school?

Is this the first time in history there was an elitist attitude?
Thank you for your podcast. Always look forward to it. I am a money manager in Minneapolis.
I just don’t see how it is possible that dovid hamelech slept with the sefer torah in his hands as he slept it is very reasonable to say that it was next to him, and not actually in his hands and therefore your question on the Mugen Avrohom is answered because Dovid ha hamelech’s only viable option was tzitzis
Dear Rabbi Lichtenstein,
Thank you for your wonderful program about school exclusivity. I just wanted to note one related topic that wasn’t mentioned. Rabbi Halpert was absolutely right that those who go to schools that aren’t connected to a high school have a problem because no high school feels achrayus toward them. I’ve learned from experience that this is an even bigger problem if you live in a Jewish community that is not big enough to have a high school.
Our community has a frum K-8 school but no high school. We learned in searching for high schools that they simply didn’t think they had an achrayus toward those of us outside their community. But surely somebody needs to be responsible for ensuring these children have schools! Fortunately, we eventually found a school, though it wasn’t easy.
Perhaps aside from vaadim consisting of all local schools, we also need larger regional networks ensuring that all children, even those in smaller out of town communities, are able to find high schools.
Yasher koach again on your wonderful podcast and this incredible program! I also enjoyed your interview about the Tosher Rebbe.
Kol tuv,
